So I have been thinking a lot this week about my project, because it is hard for me to think of different ways to incorporate technology into a dance class. For my project I will be learning how to use a music editing program as well as work with some graphics programs. I want to be able to edit my own music as well as create posters for my concerts. I will be working toward mastering these technologies.
Good choices!
ReplyDeleteFor the music, you could use garage band, which is a great, user-friendly program. It's available in the McKay computer lab (room 120, on the north end of the first floor), all of the computers have Garage band already downloaded and ready to go. With garage band, you can both (1) edit music and (2) loop music bites that they have already in the program. It's so cool!
If you want to create posters, one really cool tool is Glogster.com. On glogster, you can make online, interactive posters that you can print eventually, or just send out to people who you want to see the poster. Glogs can have music, video, and hyperlinks embedded into them. It's pretty easy to use, and fun.
You also could use Picasa to make a collage or poster, as well as photoshop, Picnik.com, or anything else you have in mind, of course.
Good luck! Email me if you need help with anything (adelheid dot elizabeth at gmail).
Thank you for the help!!
